Your Role With Us:

The Distribution Tech receives electronic orders from departments, takes orders in designated departments, and picks & delivers supplies. Keeps accurate records for outgoing supplies and patient charge supplies. Accurately receives inventory to the shelf locations. Fills and delivers orders as computer and telephone requests are received. Restocks specialty carts.

Core Functions: Orders supplies for established par levels in nursing areas and other designated departments. Delivers orders to appropriate locations while rotating stock; storage areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner. Effectively uses the inventory computer system. Receives supply orders per telephone or computer. Fills orders and accurately completes transactions. Delivers stat supply request immediately upon receiving and filling the order.

Background/Expertise:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handlers card or Serv safe card required upon hire.
