1. Work with Vendors, Corporate Purchasing, Plant Process Improvers and Plant Finance to:

• plan and coordinate Material releases to ensure components, packaging, and consumables required for production are available to meet the production schedule without carrying excess
• Ensure Items are received against Purchase Orders in a timely fashion for Vendor Payment.
• Ensure Invoices are received and processed against Purchase Orders in a timely fashion.
• Ensure the integrity for the records and reporting of the Purchasing system (PASS).
• Ensure Purchase Orders are closed as soon as possible in the PASS or SAP Systems, including resolving any open PO or PME issues.
• Ensure cycle counts and full physical inventories are scheduled and occur meeting full JSOX and Audit requirements for packaging related materials.
• Ensure proper Min/Max levels are identified and maintained for optimum support of plant equipment for packaging related materials.

2. Work with Plant staff and workforce to ensure:

• Packaging materials are ordered and scheduled to provide for production schedule.
• Production orders and Packaging department outputs are in line with shipment needs.
• Provide oversight, training and daily direction to hourly stores clerks.
• Ensure materials required for production are available to meet the production schedule.
• Audit work of Stores Clerk and Plant staff to ensure JSOX and Audit requirements are met in the purchasing area.
• Verify and train proper use of PASS systems and processes and Stores Access Database by all plant staff as needed for their daily jobs.

Other Duties

1. Responsible for all aspects of Stores Operations including security and all 5S pillars.

2. Reviewing all non-Po invoices for proper approval & account numbers

3. Maintain proper files for Indirect Material, Service & Supply Contracts inclusive of competitive bid information.

4. Assist with review/close-out of orders via the Open Order Liability Report, Open Purchase Order & RP Reports.

5. Maintain Electronic Approval route Codes

6. Responsible for Departmental Visa Card.

7. Work directly with Corporate Purchasing in the Standardization of Purchasing & Stores processes; help implement changes and improvements through out N.A. for BP, OE & AGR divisions.

8. Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and it’s Values and Principals

9. Perform document control duties for all departments in the plant.

10. Responsible for ensuring that all activities are within the scope of this position conform to the applicable QS9000 and company policies, procedures, and work instructions
