Job Title: Coatings Maintenance Team Leader Reports To: Maintenance & Engineering Group Leader

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS

• Coordination of all Coatings maintenance activities.
• Supervises all personnel associated with coatings maintenance.
• Maintenance Planning of all coating equipment and facilities.
• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities on the off shift when supervision is not present.
• Assign personnel to correct problems that occur during the off shifts & cannot be corrected at that time.
• Communicate & assist Shift Managers with problems & maintenance scheduling on the off shifts.
• Communicate to other maintenance and engineering personnel unresolved maintenance problems.
• Record time statements, vacation records, permits, filling of vacations & overtime of hourly employees.
• Maintain communication with union negotiators including settling grievances & personnel manning.
• Be available for emergency call-ins on weekdays and weekends.
• PM creation and completion tracking
• Work orders, breakdowns, Haz IDs and QKs
• Assists in training for maintenance and production. 
• Committed to the continual improvement of the Maintenance System

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Training in all medical devices in the Cold End
• Training in all new equipment installed in the Cold End
• Cross training in or training purposes and additional support at other plant locations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree in either mechanical or electrical required
• Extensive mechanical background
• Electrical troubleshooting ability
• PLC knowledge preferred.
