Join Our Outstanding Professional Team. Busy well established practice located in Brattleboro, Vermont. We Provide psychiatric outpatient care including TMS therapy.

Candidate will have the following:

• Licensed as a certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Must be able to obtain or possess a valid Vermont PMHNP license, current DEA/DPS, and required CME as per Vermont Licensing board.
• Possess a working knowledge of behavioral health diagnosis and treatments.
• Able to conduct and complete Initial psychiatric Evaluations including clinical risk assessment, and treatment recommendations; follow-up care.
• Prescribe, administer and review medications of assigned clients.
• Regularly monitor side effects of prescribed medications.
• Provide clients with information necessary to make informed consent.
• Provide backup support to other members of the psychiatric team. Provides proper response and reliability on on-call coverage.
• Order and perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and interpret associated test results for deviations from normal baseline and provide follow-up treatment plans.
• Possess a willingness to learn and incorporate cutting edge Behavioral health treatments. Such as becoming certified in TMS within 3 months of hire.
• Coordination with others involved in clients care such as: Pharmacies, Caregivers, Case Managers, and Therapists for continuity of care.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality and documentation. Keeps all patient information confidential following HIPAA compliance.
• Provide thorough, accurate and timely documentation using Practice Fusion an electronic based medical record system. Charting to be completed within no more than two weeks of patients' visit.
• Works with the office manager for accurately billing for services provided.
• Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
• Contributes to the management and efficient operation of the practice.

• Communicates appropriate information with others so that day- to -day operations are effectively conducted. Collaborates well with team members.

• Scheduling patients as needed during appointment time.
• Completes expected work volume in a timely manner. Uses time wisely and efficiently.
• Demonstrates adherence to time off request. Strives to give plenty of notice.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All patient's and employee required to wear a mask. All surfaces cleaned in between patients. At the time of reminder call the office manager ensures patient is non symptomatic.
