As a bartender, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service by mixing and serving a variety of beverages in a timely and efficient manner. You'll create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons, ensuring they have a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Mixing and Serving Drinks: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest specifications. This includes cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
2. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and providing information about the drinks menu.
3. Maintaining Cleanliness:Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times, including washing glassware, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
4. Cash Handling: Process cash and card transactions accurately, including handling cash, making change, and processing credit/debit card payments.
5. Responsible Alcohol Service: Monitor and adhere to legal and company policies regarding the service of alcohol, including checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.
6. Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies by monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
7. Drink Menu Development: Contribute to the development of new cocktails and drinks menu items, including experimenting with new ingredients and flavors.
8. Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to food safety standards.
