Position Overview:As a Bartender at our new bar/restaurant in NYC, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional atmosphere for our guests. You will be responsible for crafting and serving an array of cocktails, beverages, and food items, ensuring each customer enjoys a memorable dining and drinking experience. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to delivering top-notch service and making a positive impact on our guests.Responsibilities:

1. Bartending:

   • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity.
   • Maintain an organized and well-stocked bar area.
   • Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
   • Keep the bar area clean and tidy while always providing friendly and attentive service.

2. Serving:

   • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, assisting with menu selections, and delivering food and beverages promptly.
   • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu items, ingredients, and specials.
   • Address guest inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
   • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.

3. Guest Experience:

   • Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
   • Engage with guests, building rapport, and offering personalized recommendations.
   • Monitor guest needs and proactively provide assistance and refills as necessary.
   • Handle payments and process transactions accurately.

4. Cleanliness and Organization:

   • Keep the bar area and dining section clean, tidy, and well-maintained throughout your shift.
   • Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
   • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of beverage experience in New York City.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and food service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Barista knowledge is a plus!
