Saint Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church in Massapequa, NY is seeking a Business Manager for the parish and school.
The Business Manager
- Manages payroll and HR of parish and school employees.
- Development and coordination of the budgets of parish and school
- Preparation of the Quarterly and Annual financial reports of parish and school
- Manages the bank and investment accounts of parish and school.
- Collaborates with Operations Manager
- Supervises two part-time employees who assist with accounts receivable and payable.
In coordination with the Operations Manager
- Assists in the budgeting of major projects for remodeling, maintaining, and improving the physical plant and grounds.
- Assists in the development of vendor contracts and obtaining the diocesan required insurance and liability coverage for all contracted services.
- Assists in the planning and scheduling of routine and preventive equipment maintenance.
Applicant must present a willingness to function in a manner consistent with the mission and values of the Roman Catholic Church, the Diocese of Rockville Centre, and Saint Rose of Lima Parish.
The applicant must have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Data Management computer systems.
Candidates with a College degree or appropriate certifications and experience in accounting, bookkeeping and payroll management or equivalent experience are preferred. Appropriate references are also requested.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
