Compensation Analyst
SPHS-Human Resources

The Compensation Analyst will:

  • Research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure that the organization remains market competitive
  • Participate in all compensation-related activities including the analysis, design and implementation of programs and initiatives
  • Conduct job analysis, market analysis, pay and classification reviews and develop compensation recommendations and costs for the organization
  • Participate in compensation surveys and perform associated analyses
  • Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information to the Compensation Manager
  • Work with HR Business Partners in creating and evaluating job description content and assists in publishing and maintaining final job descriptions
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on salary offer/promotion recommendations and approval process
  • Ensure compensation data accuracy across HRIS database and compensation-related platforms
  • Provide cost analysis leading up to and during the annual pay cycles for merit increases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Two-three years of work experience as a Compensation Analyst is preferred
  • Proficient with compensation research and data analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Office Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoin.
  • Results-oriented with problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with actionable solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are required
  • Payfactors, Lawson, and Cornerstone experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
