This position is in the Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering team that provides services to the organization using an ITIL based system.Infrastructure Project Manager Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate both Agile and Waterfall projects for infrastructure serveries. Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity Manage assigned projects from Inception to Transition. Build and maintain project documentation that follow the guidelines for project delivery Track/build metrics that align with the departmental objectives Maintain/build project plans that details the status of current projects, key milestones and project risks Consult with product leads, management, vendors, and engineers to drive the project needs and business requirements Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems Provide guidance to product leads on project engagement and portfolio guidelines as they are established Infrastructure Project Manager REQUIRED Skills:· Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor· Knowledge of server, storage, and data center hardware and software (Required)· Knowledge of the Agile methodology and how it is used in an infrastructure environment· Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL processes and procedures required. Certification a plus.· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods (Typically required)· Must possess strong aptitude for problem solving, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to concisely present work with attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills· Effective organization and planning skills required; knowledge of software applications Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, SharePoint and Visio)· Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)Infrastructure Project Manager Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in a field such as computer science, computer engineering, business administration or related field required. 5-7 years experience in the IT industry required 3-5 years experience as a project manager in IT Infrastructure required.
