Description

SAIC is seeking multiple Cost Strategy Analysts located in Huntsville, Alabama to support the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space to develop and maintain cost models and data for various weapons systems.

NOTE: This is a hybrid remote position with expectations for in-person support on customer sites located in Huntsville (generally 2-4 days, per week, on site)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Works closely with Systems Engineering and Logistics teams in a System of Systems environment to understand and model Integration costs for an array of PEO Missiles and Space weapon systems
• Perform a variety of cost and economic analyses to include parametric cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship development, analysis of alternatives, cost risk analysis, project forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, software cost estimating, analyzing and preparing budget submissions to include Program Objective Memorandums, R-docs/P-docs and other related documentation
• Develop and maintain Program Office Estimates (POEs) using Automated Cost Estimator & Integrated Tools (ACEIT) and Excel
• Review and analyze Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and system requirements to develop Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs)

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCAITON AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s and three (2) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
• Bachelor’s and nine (9) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree

• Experience developing and maintaining cost models and data
• Experience using cost estimating and risk tools such as ACEIT, SEER-SEM, @RISK and / or Crystal Ball
• Must be proficient using Excel
• Potential travel (travel is rare)

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
• Must be a current US Citizen
