Sagent is Hiring a BI Developer Intern Near Coppell, TX
- Design and develop business intelligence and reporting solutions using SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, and Power BI technologies based on business requirements.
- Write documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and other forms of documentation related to various IS projects.
- Knowledge of developing windows and web solutions using C#, ASP.net and SQL server technologies is preferred.
- Follow software development methodologies and best practices.
- Assist in system improvements and bug fixing, Track support ticket progress, and ensure tickets are successfully implemented.
- Other duties as assigned by appropriate Sagent leadership.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Business Computer Information Systems
- Minimum GPA of a 3.0
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
- Familiarity with C#, ASP.Net, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and IIS is plus
- Knowledge of Visual Studio development environment is plus
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Energetic, self-motivated interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
