As we continue to experience exponential growth in our business, we are seeking an experienced Director of Sales Operations to join our dynamic team.

We have an opportunity for the Director of Sales Operations to join our SageHome team. The position reports directly to the COO and will work cross-functionally to enable profitable growth through data analytics, digital processes, and sales enablement. The focus of this critical position is to support and drive growth within the Pool Business Unit while increasing our overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales and marketing data.
  • Continuously refine the sales process and develop detailed sales playbooks.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide insights to support resource allocation and decision-making.
  • Sales Enablement: Implement sales enablement initiatives, including training, tools, and resources, to empower the sales team and improve their effectiveness.
  • Sales Technology Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage sales technology solutions to support sales operations and enhance productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor sales performance. Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance and progress against goals.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Six-plus years’ experience in sales operations, leading others with territory analysis and market assessment responsibilities.
  • A strong client service orientation: the ability to identify and deliver analyses to support our internal clients’ needs.
  • In-depth understanding of overall business operations and excellent project management skills; a track record of working with multiple stakeholders outside the team to drive a process forward.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including integration of data from multiple sources, analysis of large data sets, and development of tools and forms that nontechnical users can use.
  • Sharp attention to detail and analysis; strong communication skills.
  • The ability to organize large amounts of data and communicate actionable insights to all levels in the business.
  • Experience driving large scale changes across an organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms and to transition between high-level concepts and low-level details.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business problems to data-driven solutions.
  • Experience designing and developing business-facing dashboards, and data visualizations on BI platforms such as Power BI.
