Sage is Hiring a Remote Client Engagement Coordinator (Remote)

The Client Engagement Coordinator’s (CEC) focus will be split among several regular responsibilities (such as running monthly reports), as well as supporting the entire Corwin Sales team with overflow tasks periodically.

The CEC will also provide administrative support for two of Corwin’s most high-profile Key Consultants. The CEC will assist with Google Calendar organization, workshop and planning call availability requests, details for client engagements, and serve as a central point of communication and coordination between the two consultants, external clients, and Corwin Sales team staff.

Additionally, the CEC will support the Sales Team Client Engagement Managers with other responsibilities as listed below.

The CEC demonstrates expertise in administrative support and technical areas and applies in-depth knowledge to assist with the fulfillment of increasingly complex sales projects, assignments, and tasks with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Administrative & sales coordinator support for Sales Team & Client Engagement Managers
  • Cross-training on basic Client Engagement Manager tasks to assist with overflow work from CEM team and to provide coverage when a CEM is out of the office
  • Managing/Distribution of the Sales inbox emails (forwarding POs, vendor requests, leads, RFP bid notifications, etc. to appropriate territory team)
  • Vendor registrations
  • Virtual PD Zoom support/coordination (scheduling and starting Zoom sessions, troubleshooting support, etc.)
  • Sending sample book copies to the Sales Team as new books publish
  • Lead entry into CRM
  • Mail distribution as needed for wet signatures or notary needs
  • RFP response coordination
  • Administrative and planning support for sales meetings

Qualifications:

Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:

  • Two years’ experience in sales, customer service, and/or publishing preferred
  • Ability to travel (2-4x per year) required
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office suite, and SalesForce or other CRM required
  • Knowledge of Google web-based tools (especially calendar) preferred
  • Knowledge of the K-12 education market highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Strategic and creative thinker with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented - ability to work in high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to reprioritize tasks based on urgency -problem solving skills

Compensation at Sage is influenced by several factors, including but not limited to skill set, nature and level of experience, qualifications, and other relevant considerations. Please note that the compensation details ($22.90 per hour to $26.34 per hour base) listed in U.S. role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonuses or benefits.
