Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Center, a NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility, is currently recruiting Registered Nurses (RN).

· When: Friday – 5/3 2:00pm – 6:00pm & Saturday – 5/4 10:00am – 2:00pm

Nurses at Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Center are part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.

Nurses at Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Center:

· Perform nursing assessments and record individuals' health information and vital signs.

· Administer medications, assist with treatments, and implement nursing care plans for individuals.

· Document health information, monitor symptoms, and report medication responses and changes in health status.

· Work with treatment teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individuals' care.

· Provide health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals, families, and other groups; and develop health improvement programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Registered Nurse 1 Psychiatric

o NYS License and current registration as a practice as a professional nurse
