Your Role

  • Not a Desk Job: As a Solar Consultant at Saga, you'll meet with homeowners across the Hartford and New Haven area to help qualify their home for solar. You will run pre-set appointments generated by Saga’s other marketing channels and have the opportunity to generate your own leads if that is something you want to do.
  • You Sell, Everyone Wins: Help homeowners save money while helping the environment and making a great paycheck for yourself. A win-win-win (unlike many sales positions).
  • Achievable Targets: Clear and concrete goals so you'll never second-guess your success again. When you at least one deal per week that leads to installation, you'll make $100,000 .

Your Challenge

  • Selective Excellence: This role isn't easy and the position isn't for everyone. Our sales reps run lots of appointments and you will need to keep up. There is a good amount of driving, early mornings, late nights, and weekends. You'll succeed if that feels like a fun challenge, and if you can handle the freedom and responsibility of a commission-based role.
  • Daily Commitment: Unlike typical sales jobs, this is not a 9-5 where you’re watching the clock until it’s time to go home. Every day is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to create a future you’ll be proud of.

Your Money

  • Bi-weekly Commission-Based Pay: Average earnings for our sales reps well above $150,000 yearly.
  • Realistic Expectations: While we won’t promise unrealistic figures, our top reps' earnings last year were over $400,000 , showing what’s possible with dedication. We provide the same level of support to help you reach your financial goals.

Your Time

  • Better Hours: appointments run between 10:00am and 8:00pm M-SAT with Sunday appointments available if you would like to run them.
