Inside Sales Representative

Location: Rochester, NY Reports to: Director of Key Accounts

FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Range: $60,000-$84,000 (Base Variable Commission)

The Opportunity: 

As Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for supporting our Key Account team on US DoD and International government pursuits involving Assured PNT, Inertial Navigation and GNSS Simulation technologies. The Inside Sales Representative is a critical team member who will enable sales growth by executing a variety of business functions in accordance with SFS’ strategy.

Our Technology:

We’re the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions that improve the reliability, performance, and safety of critical high-risk operations, even in GPS/GNSS denied environments. We provide virtually fail-safe GNSS and PNT solutions and applications for military and government contract customers.

How I will Contribute:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Schedule and support customer meetings with Key Account Managers and assist in driving action items to facilitate sales.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Support team to prioritize and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Utilize Salesforce to construct quotes, track leads, and manage pipeline reporting.
  • Spearhead growth of SFS’ international customer base through existing sales channels and direct communication with international government representatives.
  • Research and communicate industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities.

What You Bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Sales role or related function.
  • US Defense industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire for career growth as a Sales professional
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
