Safford Brown Nissan Sterling is seeking a dynamic and Experienced Automotive Service Manager
to join our team. The service manager will oversee all aspects of our automotive service department,
ensure the delivery of top-notch customer service, maintain efficient operations, and drive business
growth. Must have previous experience as a service manager at a franchised dealership!
Automotive Service Manager Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage a team of automotive service technicians and support staff, fostering a culture
of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
● Maintain high customer service standards (CSI scores) by promptly addressing customer
inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
● Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations to ensure a
safe working environment for employees and customers.
● Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, including expanding service offerings,
implementing promotional campaigns, and cultivating customer loyalty programs.
● Analyze service department performance metrics and financial data to identify areas for
improvement and implement strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
● Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in
automotive service management, and incorporate relevant innovations into service department
operations.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-performing service department.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
● Proficiency in automotive diagnostic equipment and service procedures.
● Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving operational excellence.
● Knowledge of automotive industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
● Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
● Proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Office and automotive service
management software.
