S2 Residential is Hiring a Workday Developer Near Dallas, TX

Job Title: Workday Developer (Contract)Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Workday Developer to join our team and play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our Workday HCM system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday development and configuration, with a focus on HR and payroll processes. As a Workday Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, automate workflows, and optimize system performance.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and configure recruiting solutions within Workday to streamline the hiring process, including job requisitions, candidate profiles, and interview scheduling.
  • Configure time off policies within Workday, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with company policies.
  • Enable managers to view and input payroll-related data such as commissions, bonuses, and other incentives directly into employees' checks through Workday.
  • Build EIB ethnicity reporting and generate the EEO-1 report to meet regulatory requirements. Develop benefit building reports and assist in administering the Quarterly Maintenance Bonus.
  • Create scheduling reports to be sent via email for efficient communication and monitoring. Implement automation in the hiring workflow to initiate compliance training for new hires.
  • Design and configure advanced compensation structures in Workday, including vesting schedules, acquisition fee assignments, AM quarterly bonus targets, and bonus pool eligibility criteria.
  • Integrate commission plans into Workday for tracking goals and one-time payment plans. Ensure that commission calculations and payouts are accurately reflected within the bonus plan.
  • Integrate Workday with external systems such as Workers Comp Carriers, VerifiedFirst background check, Predictive Index, and Peakon for ongoing data synchronization and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and build dashboards for easy monitoring and analysis of HR and payroll metrics. Develop custom reports to address specific business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday development and configuration, with a focus on HCM modules.
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Workday Studio, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and EIBs.
  • Experience with integrations and API development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
