About the Position

We are seeking an office assistant to join our team in our recently expanded office in Portage. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, will have outstanding organizational skills and will be an excellent multi-tasker.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Greet and check in visitors, answer main phone line
  • USPS:

-Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail

-Operate mailing machine, assemble daily outgoing mail, print mailing labels

-Take mail to the post office at the end of each business day

  • UPS and FedEx - responsible for shipping and receiving function
  • Assist accounting, payroll and human resources departments with general tasks as needed
  • Process coupon reimbursements
  • Order/stock office supplies, snacks and beverages
  • Order Canon printer supplies, contact Canon technical support as needed
  • Print, scan, and sort files as needed
  • Place apparel orders for office team
  • Coordinate office lunches and events
  • Schedule office carpet cleaning and fire inspections
  • Run errands as needed
  • Other general office tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be notary public (or have the ability to become a notary public)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Possess a positive, out-going attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Hours: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

Wage Range: $18-20 based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
