Job Purpose

You will be supporting the RWS IP Solutions Field (outside) Sales team by identifying, (pre-)qualifying and developing sales opportunities that drive increased sales in new accounts. You will be applying a working knowledge of sales and product/vertical skills to work independently on common projects.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

    • Operational Excellence - Plans and manages priorities and tasks, working closely with the outside sales team, to effectively identify and engage with potential new contacts, new clients and/or partners. Performs a range of tasks such as: client research, client mapping, opportunity identification, client contact, and follow up. Works through BANT methodology to uncover needs and pain points. Generates well-defined leads and appointments to 'hand off' to the outside sales team. Utilizes a variety of methods to expand prospects and generate interest such as inbound/outbound calling, lead follow-up, and promoting special events. Accurately and efficiently maintains all lead and client information in the CRM database. Uses Outreach linked to Salesforce to track and record prospect contact and lead progress.
    • Delivers Quality, Value, and Results - Demonstrates an understanding of the client's business and effectively highlights appropriate product features and benefits that can address the client's requirements. Actively listens to the client's needs and requirements in order to better qualify the lead and uncover new opportunities. Makes decisions about leads to pursue that will have the greatest potential benefit.
    • Functional Excellence - Continuously developing knowledge in RWS IP Solutions product portfolio, and sharing his/her knowledge with team members. Participates in and promotes the use of a variety of learning opportunities (e.g., on-the-job, formal training, design communities.) Seeks feedback, coaching and/or mentoring in order to develop sales expertise.
    • Relationship Building - Builds credibility with team members and the sales team by generating new ideas to solve problems, drive sales, improve processes. Cultivates client relationships by demonstrating strong communication skills, business knowledge, and relating how RWS IP Solutions products and solutions can drive business success

Education & Experience Required/Preferred

Base Pay

$45,000 - $55,000 / year plus commission

Actual rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.

Candidates must reside in State advertised to be considered: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington DC, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia
