Community Medical Center, an affiliate of RWJBarnabas Health, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Job Functions:

• Performs echocardiograms with Doppler, color flow analysis, and strain to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease,
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to determine each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment,
• Assists the nurse and physician in the performance of transesophageal echocardiograms,
• Administers Definity when necessary to obtain high-quality images,
• Performs echocardiograms on both hospital patients and outpatients, which includes offsite locations in the area,

Weekend availability required,

Opportunity for on call shift with 30 minute response time,

Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology preferred
• Current RDCS/RCS certification
• BLS Healthcare Provider
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
