RW Hartnett Company is Hiring a Mechanical Assembly Technician Near Philadelphia, PA
R.W. Hartnett is a family-owned company on the outskirts of Philadelphia that builds custom machinery for the Pharmaceutical and Confectionery industries. We take great pride in the quality of our machines. The work environment is that of a small company where you feel more like part of a family then just another number on a payroll. We have a fully climate controlled building with Heat and AC.
R.W. Hartnett is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician with Industrial / Manufacturing Equipment Assembly Experience.
Responsibilities:
85% Assemble Manufacturing Equipment
- Follow assembly diagrams to fit pieces together.
- Make needed fitment adjustments using Files, Reamers
10% Inventory Control
- Monitor levels of assembly inventory and re-order as needed.
5% Machine Service
- Travel to customer sites in the US to diagnose or repair mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Experience with the use of Hand Tools is required.
- Experience with the use of Twist Drills and Taps is preferred.
- Experience with Mechanical assemblies is preferred.
- Experience with Manual Bed Mill operation is a plus.
- Experience with Manual Lathe operation is a plus.
- Experience with Tig and/or Mig welding is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
