RW Hartnett company (www.rwhartnett.com) seeks an Electrical Assembly Technician to be part of our engineering team. RW Hartnett is a manufacturer of high-quality printing machines for the Pharmaceutical and Confectionery industries. The work environment is that of a small company where you feel more like part of a family than just another number on a payroll. Domestic travel will be required.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
- Uphold the RW Hartnett Mission and Vision.
- Electrical assembly and wiring of pharmaceutical and confectionary machines
- Perform wiring of machines in accordance with drawings and schematics
- Perform assembly tasks including drilling, tapping, etc
- Build machine assemblies and smaller assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics to build and modify machines
- Provide electrical onsite install to customers
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs onsite to customers
- Able to work with hand tools
- Two year degree in Electrical or Mechanical field, preferred but not required
- Understanding of control circuits, relays, sensors, ect
- General understanding of electrical schematics
- Proficient in circuit and system trouble shooting
- Proficient with hand tools
- PLC knowledge is a plus but not required
- VFD, Servo experience is a plus but not required
