- Work with the Robotic Welding Programmer to develop sequencing of parts
- Load and unload parts into welding fixtures ensuring parts are aligned correctly and part quality is acceptable.
- Responsible to integrate the required part changes and cycle times into their daily responsibilities
- May be required to clean parts and perform final finishing operation on part prior to the component moving to the next work cell
- Ensure all portions of fixtures, robot, and welding power source are functioning properly and perform periodical preventative maintenance.
- Able to perform basic program call-ups.
- Perform part checks to the drawings to ensure quality requirements are met
- Communicate with supervisor to ensure schedule adherence
- Must maintain the work area in a clean orderly fashion and follow 5S standardization where reasonable
- Willing to train the right candidate for the above responsibilities.
- Candidate must have the following characteristics and skills.
- Minimum of high school education
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
