Hygia Reagents is located in San Diego, California. As a startup, we are growing fast. We are hiring a Business Development Specialist/Sales Representative. There are 4 major business sectors in Hygia at this stage - In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), Contract Research Organization (CRO)/Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), Reagents for High Throughput Screening/Diagnostics (HTS/HTD), GMP reagents manufacturing, Biotech/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Instruments. The candidate will initiate, cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to advance business development. This individual will interact actively with clients in order to understand their needs, and expand networks.
Responsibilities:
Generate appointments/interactions by means of proactive outbound prospecting
Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Biology/Biomedical/Bioengineering/Medical background
Experience in marketing and business development preferred
Strong communication and time management skills
Genuinely like interacting/connecting with people
