Rate : $55k to $62k / Per Annum

Job Description :

Our client is in search of a seasoned Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance their team. This role involves overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and resolution of customer billing discrepancies.

We are looking for an individual with meticulous attention to detail, outstanding communication abilities, and a proactive mindset towards resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities :

• Issue invoices / bills to clients promptly and accurately.
• Pursue outstanding invoices / bills, ensuring timely collections.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to guarantee accurate and complete recording of payments.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Address billing inquiries from clients and resolve payment issues effectively.
• Monitor clients accounts for overdue payments and take appropriate collection measures.
• Collaborate with legal and business teams to address client billing concerns.
• Generate aging reports and provide regular updates on accounts receivable status.
• Support month-end closing procedures and contribute to financial audits.
• Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of all accounts receivable activities.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Experience with Centrebase (or equivalent legal billing platform).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve client issues.
• Familiarity with collection techniques and negotiation skills.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
