The Department of Professional Education Programs of The Esteves School of Education at Russell Sage College invites applications for a part-time, lecturer faculty (non-tenure track) position at the rank of Lecturer, Art Education, effective for Fall 2023. The candidate will be responsible for teaching three graduate-level courses in the MAT Art Education program, advise all program majors, supervise student-teachers, attend related department meetings, and act as a liaison between the college, local schools, and fellow faculty members.
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a licensed K-12 art educator; experience in teaching in higher education and/or mentoring student-teachers; a commitment to strong art education; and a desire to champion the program.
Preferred:
In addition to the minimum requirements, the preferred candidate should have an earned terminal degree in art; experience teaching in higher education, with accreditation, program development and leadership.
