The Dietetic Internship Coordinator is responsible for assisting the dietetic internship (DI) program director with the administration and day-to-day implementation of the Russell Sage College (RSC) DI Program, including both onsite and distance tracks.

Responsibilities & Duties

• The DI Coordinator will assist the DI Director with all activities related to both tracks of the DI including, but not limited to:
• Oversee/maintain the Medhub E*value electronic intern management system
• Field questions from current and prospective dietetic interns
• Collects and maintains all intern-related documentation (health records, official transcripts and other required documents) for current and incoming interns
• Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
• Assist with review of prospective intern applications and interviews
• Assist with coordinating and scheduling rotations
• Assist with intern advisement when needed
• Obtain new affiliations for specific supervised practice rotations
• Collect and organize accreditation related data
• Research new curriculum content as advised by program director
• Proof and assist with updating program information and practicum handbooks
• Provide feedback on areas of curriculum improvement
• Assist program director in streamlining processes for increased efficiency
• Maintain preceptor, facility requirements and affiliation agreements
• Update assignment content/curriculum as advised by program director
• Evaluate intern assignments
• Build program applicable data collection tools/spreadsheets
• Orientation planning and delivery

The estimated wage is $25.64 per hour for 37.5 hours per week for 52 weeks.

Required:

• MS in nutrition, dietetics or related field
• Registered Dietitian Credential

Preferred:

• NYS Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist or other state licensure
