Rural Mutual Insurance is Hiring an Insurance Sales Agent Near Waukesha, WI

You will be joining a company dedicated to protecting the things that matter most to families in your community and serving as a trusted advisor to people by protecting their homes, cars, businesses, farms, and even their livelihoods. With the support of a base salary, plus the opportunity for commission and bonuses, you will receive training and the backing of a district manager as you onboard. Our agents become trusted members of the communities in which they serve and proudly keep our promise to make sure that premiums paid here, stay here to keep Wisconsin strong.

Compensation: $42,000 - $48,000 Salary; PLUS Commissions and Bonuses and a $2,000 signing bonus

Compensation:

$42,000 - $48,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Networking with local businesses and homeowners to develop relationships and deliver the benefits of Rural Mutual's product line
  • Prospect and close all lines of insurance including auto, home, life, and commercial
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and renewing customers
  • Outstanding relationship builder
  • Continue to grow in the knowledge of new products
  • Train and educate team members
  • Seek training when needed
Qualifications:
  • Experience in delivering customer-centered solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
  • Excellent skills in communication: listening and presenting
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving financial success
  • Skilled at networking and committed to the community in which you work
  • High level of integrity with a track record of showing consistency between words and action
  • Licensed in property, casualty, and life insurance—or committed to obtaining licenses within 60 days of being hired
