Summary:

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The Janitor is a critical component of upholding our company culture and image while helping us to look and feel our absolute best.

Responsibilities:

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Clean and maintain restrooms
• Clean and maintain kitchen areas
• Washing and cleaning windows and mirrors
• Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Make sure all office doors and closets are locked and secured as requested
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions

• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces

• 18 years of age (minimum)

Physical Requirements:

• Possess the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Communicate both in person and by telephone
