Rumpl is looking for a highly organized and detail oriented individual to support the accounting function on a full-time basis. You’ll have the opportunity to directly and positively impact Rumpl’s bottom line while providing key inputs for new and existing processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes by communicating with customers and vendors to request and send payments
• Monitor shared accounting inbox and respond in a timely manner to any requests
• Record cash transactions and reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis
• Apply customer payments accurately within the accounting records
• Process customer credit card payments as necessary
• Ensure vendor bills are entered and paid in a timely and accurate manner
• Send out invoices via EDI on a daily basis
• Update client and vendor accounts as needed based on payment or contact information
• Process and account for employee expense submissions and work with employees to ensure receipts and documentation are properly submitted
• Assist in the monthly close process by making journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and performing fluctuation analysis review on the historical financials
• Assist with finance department ad hoc projects as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Two year associate degree in accounting
• CPA degree is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Strong project management skills
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Comfortable with analysis of large data sets 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience working within Netsuite or comparable accounting software
