The Service Manager will be able to build and develop their service department to support the Carroll Community during our continued growth.

This fast-growing company has 7 locations in the state of Iowa and Nebraska.
Job Title: Service Manager
Reports to: Store Manager
Job Summary:
To oversee all personnel and responsibilities assigned to the service department including sales, inventory, marketing, training and goals set forth by the Service Division Manager
Essential Duties:
1. Develop and maintain effective service department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
2. Develop yearly goals for shop efficiency
3. Review all repair orders for accuracy and completeness concerning parts, materials, and labor.
4. Inspect and approve the release of equipment for delivery to customer
5. Promote customer loyalty and goodwill while protecting dealership image
6. Work with marketing to promote service specials
7. Work with other department managers to schedule customer clinics, field days and other promotional events
8. Review time clock reports and make appropriate changes for service technicians and shop help
9. Maintain highest level of certification set forth by the manufacturer. Address inefficiencies in a timely manner
10. Make sure all technicians are properly certified by the appropriate manufacture
11. Conduct yearly inventory of all shop tools and equipment and maintain that all are in good working condition
12. Monitor and control costs of usable items in the service department
13. Ensure and promote that correct safety procedures are being followed

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position directly supervises all service technicians employed by the store.
Work Environment:
This job operates in both an office and field environment, including exposure to varied weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evenings and weekends as necessary.
