Job Overview

Join our dynamic team for a summer internship opportunity at Rubies Costumes. We're seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about the Halloween industry to join us in various departments including Product Development, Licensing, Design, Sourcing, and Sales. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to the exciting world of costumes and merchandise across all your favorite celebrations!

Job Responsibilities

• Support the national sales team in managing key wholesale customer accounts and relationships.
• Assist in preparing sales presentations by conducting market research, gathering data, and creating compelling visual materials to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Coordinate sample follow-up activities by tracking sample requests, ensuring timely delivery to clients, and following up to gather feedback and address any concerns.
• Support the sales team in maintaining organized databases of presentation materials, samples, and client information to facilitate efficient workflow and information retrieval.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment between sales presentations and product messaging, features, and positioning.
• Gain hands-on experience in sales techniques, presentation skills, and client relationship management through shadowing and assisting sales representatives in client meetings and presentations.

Job Competencies

• Must be currently enrolled in College or University.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Have a passion for the Halloween industry and pop-culture.
• Must be able to commute to our office and work on-site.
