Job Title: Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Status: Full-Time – Non – Exempt

RSI is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk who will perform entry level bookkeeping and will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and processing the payments in a timely manner. This position will report to the Business Services Vice President.  

Primary responsibilities and essential functions:

• Accounts Payable.
• GSA, FTR travel familiarity; process TERs from Costpoint.
• Process cell phone allowances monthly.
• Code & reconcile monthly billings.
• Compile customer billings.
• File contacts/Billings.
• Process cash receipts.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Requires knowledge of accounting fundamentals, company policy, procedures and practices that relate to accounting and payroll activities.
• Successful candidate must have experience in basic accounting functions such as payroll, payables, receivables, billing, and account reconciliation.
• One to Three years of relevant working experience is required.
• Deltek Costpoint experience is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or an Associate degree from an accredited academic program is preferred.
