As part of our ongoing evolution, we are looking to hire a Principal Marketing Data Analyst. This role will be a critical part of the Marketing team.Your ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a proven Database Analyst that can support the marketing team by providing data driven insights regarding markets, competitors, and campaign effectiveness. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this role will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and executing a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy and tracking program. This position will provide analysis on a formal and ad hoc basis using standardized and automated reporting with the objective of measuring performance and supporting business decisions, often providing analysis and visualization of large data sets. In addition, they will be responsible for monitoring, administering, and streamlining our existing databases to improve user experience, marketing efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

  • Provide business analytics for marketing.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their unique challenges, translate those challenges into data problems, and then provide insight back to the business based on a quantitative perspective.
  • Summarize analytical results, drawing out key learnings, making recommendations and presenting to key stakeholders in a clear and precise manner.
  • Define data requirements with marketing leadership for modelling and automation projects.
  • Lead the effort to eliminate data waste from and improve interoperability between our systems.
Your Profile
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and visualize diverse data sources such as search, email, social, transactions, and website behavior.
  • Conducted advanced attribution modeling across channels and user journeys.
  • Performed clustering and cohort analysis for market segmentation and product initiatives.
  • Written ad-hoc queries for customer segmentation and reporting.
  • Assisted in maintaining data documentation and transformation processes.
  • Utilized Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for complex implementations.
  • Created visually compelling dashboards using Tableau.
  • Experience with Tableau Data Management and Prep Conductor is a plus.
  • Managed data lineage, quality, and governance.
  • Been proficient in Jira for project management.
  • Led projects and vendor management.
  • Built cross-functional relationships.
  • Displayed strong interpersonal skills and global perspective.
  • Advocated for workplace inclusion and social responsibility.
