- Conduct regular HSE inspections of facility to ensure company and regulatory compliance and analyze results.
- Conduct and coordinate training of employees on HSE requirements to ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage several HSE functions such as training, recordkeeping, and safety compliance
- Develop, implement and monitor environmental & safety policies, procedures and documents
- Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analyses and corrective actions
- Consults with management to ensure timely and efficient resolutions of HSE issues
- Represent company during HSE audits with current and potential customers/vendors
- Represent the company with regulatory agencies
- Prepare, submit, and document OSHA logs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years HSE related experience
- Excellent customer service, verbal/written communication skills and sound judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Able to investigate, report and document Company HSE issues
- Handling several tasks concurrently with attention to detail
- Ability to function well independently and within a team
- Ability to be flexible and self-motivated
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Bilingual a plus
- OSHA 30 (preferred)
