Distillery Maintenance Technician ($21-$27hr) in Muenster, TX
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing distillery equipment and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, electrical issues, and mechanical failures.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry advancements.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distillery environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy machinery and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
