The position: The Resident Services Coordinator assists the Community Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community, or communities, with resident relations issues, performances a variety of administrative/clerical duties, and has primary responsibility for any resident concerns being addressed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the resident experience
- Offer a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office
- Maintain awareness of the property competitors and contribute ideas to the Property Manager to improve resident retention and satisfaction
- Contact and follow up on renewals, new residents, and work orders
- Answer and handle incoming issues from current residents always offering excellent service
- Create a renewal program to optimize leas renewals and decrease resident turnover
- Create ideas for marketing and events and assist in successful execution of these events
- Plan fun activities for residents
- Develop and execute strategies for optimizing online reputation and resident satisfaction surveys in accordance with goals set by Community Manager
- Must be available for after hours for resident relations and other activities
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- High school GED; or one to three years of related experience
- Possess knowledge of property operations, marketing principles and practices
- Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products of services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources management, leadership techniques, planning and organization, and coordinator of people and resources
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Industry Specific Software
Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possess a valid driver's license.
