RPM xConstruction, LLC is currently seeking a skilled Sr. Project Manager to join our Construction Management Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contracts within our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Review plans and phasing for optimal construction sequence.
· Produces monthly billing correctly and timely.
· Manages the Review & approval of Subcontractor invoices as required.
· Manages the review of job costs.
· Review subcontracts for correct scope and value.
· Develops and maintains client relationships.
· Recognizes and follows-up with Change Order opportunities.
· Coordinates plan changes or issues with client.
· Coordinates between Estimating and Field Operations.
· Orders and tracks materials.
· Schedules testing or QA/QC hold points for each discipline.
· Provides oversight and direction to both internal resources and subcontractors.
· Manages day to day operations and problem resolution.
· Requests New cost codes be entered into Viewpoint for tracking extra work.
· Provides project updates to company leadership as well as clients.
· Mentors and develops Project Engineers.
· Works with Superintendent and Foremen ensuring they have the proper resources for the job.
Minimum Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
· Degree in Construction Management/Engineering
· Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Construction Project Management
· Proficiency in project management methodologies
· Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Demonstrates solid communication, customer service skills, and verbal/written skills with all levels of company personnel and outside vendors/suppliers.
· Ability to present in a large meeting or training environment.
· Demonstrates a high level of organization and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask.
· Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 15 pounds.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to computers and general office equipment at various times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
