Your Impact

The Software Developer is an active member of the development teams. The software developer will be responsible for developing and deploying custom solutions to the customer's enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
• Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs
• Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time
• Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures
• Establish and Improve system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols within development, test, and production systems
• Works on a range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions, and processes
• Designs, implements, and maintains application code on various networks
• Contributes in all phases of the software development life cycle
• Writes well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensures designs are in compliance with specifications
• Recommends changes to improve established application processes
• Prepares and produces releases of software components
• Writes automated unit test cases and evaluation code quality using automated tools
• Writes automated integration test cases and resolves issues
• Supports formal testing and resolves test defects
• Provides technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions
• Aligns to the customer's strategies

Required Skills

• Requires active TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant field OR the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• 8 years of related software development experience
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Expert with at least one language and desire good experience with several others (Python, React, Java, etc.)
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes
• Experience building and working with container images (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with utilizing CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve technical problems
