As a software developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and resources to overcome your clients’ most difficult challenges. You’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements. You’ll collaborate with your team as you code and deliver solutions that support the current architecture and operating environment, as well as support future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
2 years of experience in software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
Experience with Data pipeline development at scale including collection, ingestion and stream processing, storage, ETL (extract/transform/load), compute and querying, visualization and analytics
Experience with database technologies, including relational, columnar, and nosql, and ability to write SQL DDL and DML
Experience with developing APIs at scale with parallel processing of gets and puts
Experience with storage technology, including block storage and object storage
Experience in native cloud computing technologies or hybrid solutions
Experience in supporting internal and external customers and their needs
Knowledge of programming in Python or related language, and command languages, such as Bash or PowerShell
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
2 years of experience with Enterprise or Cloud IT
Experience with AWS services including Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL), Amazon RedShift, AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon API Gateway, and Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS)
Experience with building and deploying capabilities as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation
Experience with using CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) workflows low to high across commercial and non-commercial AWS environments
Knowledge of architectural implications of meeting industry standards, such as ICD 503, NIST 800-53, or FEDRAMP
Ability to lead effectively across organizations
Possession of strong verbal and written communications skills
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or AWS Certified Database certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
