Royal Communications is Hiring a Technical Project Manager - IT Infrastructure Near New York, NY
Job Details
Technical Project Manager needed for a long-term engagement involving a corporate move to a new facility. The right person will have managed projects in the infrastructure space, specifically network and desktop deployments. This role is onsite, 5 days a week, in midtown Manhattan.
The candidate will join a team responsible for gathering requirements and leading the deployment plan and build-out of a new infrastructure. The candidate will lead all project lifecycle phases which includes hardware installation, testing and turn-up of core network routers, switches. This role is not a PMO position but rather a technical PM.
Background should include:

- Working with carriers on service delivery
- Strong familiarity with wireless, cabling, networking, voice, data
- Build-out of desktops and desktop monitor configuration
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and track deliverables related to the request.
- Manage delivery across internal teams and third-party contractors/ consultants.
- Gather technology requirements and partner with engineering and operations for high level design.
- Responsible for managing delivery across internal teams and third-party contractors/ consultants. Develop, track and coordinate schedule. Manage hardware deliveries, with vendors, including staging.
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate at all levels and influence others.
- Strong documentation.
- Managing technicians.
- Any trading floor experience would be a plus.
- College degree preferred.
- Relevant project management certifications preferred.

- A confident and articulate self-starter
- A team player with a high level of commitment and enthusiasm
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment while juggling multiple tasks.
- Has excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrate time management, ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- Proficiency in any: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, MS-Project, Excel, Sharepoint, ServiceNow Skills
