Serves as the on-site coordinator for daily business operations. Interviews the patient or his/her representative to obtain patient demographics. This position also secures insurance information, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations as applicable. Works closely with all facets of the Admitting department including PBX operator function and reception areas. Provides administrative services to the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center providers and staff in order to achieve comprehensive, personal, and efficient patient care by completing a variety of clerical and business related assignments. Assures smooth functioning in the office.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Customer Service experience required.
3. Two years experience in a hospital, physician office, or outpatient administrative setting
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Continuing education in word processing and data entry.

6. Epic experience required.
