Maintenance Technician

Location : This position will service all areas within the Middle Tennessee region and is based out of our Hendersonville, TN location.

Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to :

• Schedule appointments and track work order progress using company software
• Exterior maintenance knowledge is a must, i.e. Siding repairs, Roofing repairs, etc. Some construction experience and minor finish work is a plus
• Maintain high level of customer service interacting with internal / external clients
• Use of problem-solving techniques and analytical skills
• Use of a brand new company vehicle (Transit Van) to address maintenance work orders at various locations throughout the day
• Support team members, be a team player and be eager to learn
• Track expenses used at job sites
• Understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
• On-call rotation required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements / Skills

• Basic understanding of general maintenance and construction
• Must have attention to detail skills and excellent written communication skills
• Flexible and skilled at working in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at functioning independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Valid Drivers License required

Physical Requirements

• Employees in this role must be able to sit, stand, walk , bend for prolonged periods.
• Ability to drive to and from a several locations during the day.
• This person must be able to carry and climb ladders and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
