Data Management Analyst-TechDoc Librarian for the Artemis Program
The Data Management Analyst position will represent Rothe Enterprises, Inc to their Prime Contractor, ARES, on the Kennedy Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services Contract Three (KLXS III) at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. The KLXS contract provides engineering and technical services, program and business management support services and administrative support services to the EGS Program at KSC.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for identification and definition, acquisition and preparation, control, disposition, and archiving functions within the Integrated Configuration Management (ICM) discipline
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for identification and definition, acquisition and preparation, control, disposition, and archiving functions within the Integrated Configuration Management (ICM) discipline Developing and maintaining ICM and Records Management plans (both NASA and Contractor) in accordance with Center Business Management System (BMS) procedures, and facilitating BMS audits.
Working with internal and external customer organizations to ensure ICM requirements are integrated into LX processes and procedures.
Identifying and resolving issues, and developing mitigation plans; preparing and updating manuals, instructions, and operating procedures.
Defining and analyzing ICM Tool requirements in support of the Program Data Architecture.
Participating in and supporting projects related to the analysis and recording of data structures and process flows.
Developing and maintaining diagrams, data and documents, spreadsheets, and presentations for the LX team’s technical documentation; adding and modifying data and documents for internal websites.
Managing, reviewing, and tracking the entire lifecycle for LX Program and project document and technical assessments requests under ICM control.
Document and assist with EGS Program and Cross Program milestone technical reviews.
Researching and developing customer and other user requirements for integrating and upgrading ICM Tools and processes.
Additional Duties:
Facilitating the evaluation and testing of new products, programs, and applications, as well as reproducing faults for advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
Interfacing with the EGS Program and other Programs/projects for Information Management (IM); preparing, reviewing, and processing data and associated IM documentation (Charters, Directives, Requests for Deviation/Waiver, etc.).
Determining current capabilities and data handling requirements to support the IM process (e.g., document schema, business data, and documentation management [TechDoc]).
Providing back-up support to Data Quality Assurance (i.e., Technical Writing).
Writing data analysis reports and providing metrics.
Supporting IM for all ICM process documentation.
Required Experience and Skills:
6-8 years of Records Management/Data Management experience
5 years of specialized experience in management analysis, business process reengineering, organizational performance assessments, strategic planning, project planning, performance monitoring, etc.
2-4 years Integrated Configuration Management experience
Experience in mentoring/coaching others
Principles and practices of data management
Microsoft Office Suite
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
6-8 years of Records Management/Data Management experience
5 years of specialized experience in management analysis, business process reengineering, organizational performance assessments, strategic planning, project planning, performance monitoring, etc.
2-4 years Integrated Configuration Management experience
Experience in mentoring/coaching others
Principles and practices of data management
Microsoft Office Suite
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Science or Math is preferred
Personal attributes, special aptitudes, physical requirements, and personality traits
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to efficiently multitask
Desired Skills / Abilities / Certifications:
Prior NASA/KSC experience; direct EGS Program experience is a plus
Familiarity with Kennedy Space Center Records Management and Data Management Policies
CM/DM Certifications are a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is contingent on successful completion and maintaining of security badging requirements which include but are not limited to background checks and drug screening
Must be willing and able to sign a personal NDA and firewall/protect sensitive Government and other Contractor data
Travel requirements – occasional
