Roskam Baking Company is Hiring a Warehouse Manager Near San Dimas, CA
- Control and manage inventory
- Oversee daily operations and supervision of team members
- Manage internal and external customer relations
- Conduct weekly audits of warehouse and shipping personnel
- Maintain and oversee condition of warehouse equipment. Forklifts, batteries, docks, etc.
- Conduct employee training, write procedures, and give testing as needed
- Conduct and become involved in meetings with various department heads
- Manage a multi-site operation
- Accountable for Warehouse KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Issue resolution and elevation to Director of Supply Chain when appropriate.
- Schedule employee hours, manage call-ins
- Enforce policies
- Microsoft Office Suite, including knowledge of Microsoft AX, SAP
- Skill set to handle conflict and motivate a team
- Ability to manage a large team in a fast moving facility
- Ability to develop solutions from data
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Ability to lead a campus of resources to best optimize operations.
- Ability to adapt to different managerial styles
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 7-10 years of comparable experience
- Minimum of 5 years prior supervision experience
- Experience in Union and Nonunion facilities
- Demonstrated achievements in Lean Manufacturing
- SQF Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Able to be on feet for extended periods and capable of walking the warehouse several times per day.
- Flexibility is a must. Candidate must be willing to cover extended hours on occasion, work periodic weekends and be made available by phone on off hours.
