Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic dental records system
- Coordinate referrals from other dental providers
- Assist with billing and coding tasks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Marketing duties that require driving your own vehicle. Company will reimburse for mileage and gas.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist is not required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Travel between nearby locations may be occasionally required.
