Responsibilities:
-Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
-Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system
-Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and promotions
-Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, escalating to management when necessary
-Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
-Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
