Roman Home LLC is Hiring a Group Home Manager Near Phoenix, AZ

The House Manager is responsible for supervising the overall operation of the direct day-to-day care of children placed in our care. The House Manager works under direction of the Program Director exercising discretion and independent judgment within established policies and procedures. Assists with group services, monitors physical operation of the facility, and client programs. Assists in developing program goals and objectives for clients. The position requires individuals who are self-motivated and passionate; being able to control the environment with love, care and compassion. Provide 24/7 supervision of children in care and MUST be available to be on-call.

  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must have High School diploma or GED but a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, health care or business is preferred
  • Must have at least 6 months paid child care experience and at least 3 ½ years of any combination of paid child care or related experience, or post high school education in social work or related field
  • Must have at least two years’ previous supervisory experience in a related field
  • Must have a valid Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must have a valid AZ Driver's license.
  • Must have a clean 5-year Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must have basic computer knowledge (i.e., Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Meet the Health and Safety requirements (in good health, TB test and a pre-employment physical).
  • Must have Ability to work flexible hours/ on call
  • Must have Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate excellent organization skills and strong attention on details
  • Demonstrates ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrates excellent written communication skills including proper grammar.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy and shows reliability in the workplace.
  • Demonstrates an interest and sensitivity to working around abused, abandoned and/or neglected children.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
