We are looking for dedicated and service-minded hotel receptionist to our team at Rolo Beach Hotel.
Rolo Beach Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel with 25 rooms and suites, located between Las Olas Blvd and Sunrise Blvd just 3 blocks from the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Our hotel is top-rated by our guests and the main building is just newly renovated in a high contemporary standard.
We will now extend our opening hours to 9 am - 11 pm, and therefore we now need to increase our team. Visit rolobeachhotel.com for more information about the hotel.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Process guest check-ins/check-outs and room assignments following the hotel´s rate structures, discounts and sell strategies.
· Collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.
· Answer inquiries about hotel services, directions, and local attractions.
· Respond to emails and electronic reservations, answer calls, texts and book reservations.
· Service our guests in a professional manner.
· Assist with doing laundry with linens, towels etc (washing, drying, folding) in the maintenance room close to the reception to help the team if needed.
· Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Must have the ability to fluently communicate in English. Bilingual a plus.
· Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills required.
· Computer literacy a must.
· Ability to resolve guest conflicts in a service-minded way.
· Work well independently and use good judgement.
· Be flexible with days and hours (must be able to work holidays and weekends).
· Ability to multitask a must.
· Have at least 2 years of Customer Service experience preferably in a Hotel.
Working hours varies and does include weekends/holidays as well as nights.
